Superyacht Security

Superyachts are designed for relaxation and holidays where security is sometimes not appreciated as top priority.

Human error contributes heavily to lapses in security, not retracting or raising the gangway, not monitoring CCTV enough etc.

On land, particularly with new crew members, there are issues with making themselves a target either by apparel or ‘talking shop’ aloud in an unsecure area.

Crew members need to be trained in security awareness – at all times, to safeguard themselves, their colleagues, and the vessels owner.
