The Training for Port personnel with Designated Security Duties Course is designed to provide the knowledge required for personnel with Designated Security Duties to undertake the duties assigned to them under the Port Facility Security Plan (PFSP).
Attendees will achieve the required standard of competence to enable them to contribute to the enhancement of Maritime Port security through heightened awareness and the ability to recognise security threats and to respond appropriately.
This course is relating to the requirements of Chapter XI-2 of Safety of Life at Sea (SOLAS) 1974, as amended, and Parts A & B of the ISPS Code, the IMDG code, the IMO/ILO code of practice on Security in Ports and guidance contained in IMO MSC. 1/Circ.1341.
