ISPS Awareness

The ISPS course is designed to ensure all security personnel achieve the required standard of competence to enable them to contribute to the enhancement of Maritime security through heightened awareness and the ability to recognise security threats and to respond appropriately.

The course will provide the requirements of Chapter Xl-2 of SOLAS 74 as amended, the ISPS code and section A-Vl/6-1 of the STCW code as amended.

This course introduces the International Ship and Port Facility Security (ISPS) Code, the need for security awareness and risk management to Operations and Commercial Management Teams.

Delegates receive an excellent understanding of the Code, and how implementation of the Code enhances security and risk management strategies of their locations.

Delegates will be tutored in how the ISPS code directly impacts their roles and responsibilities as security personnel.
