Elderly and Disabled Passengers

Unless you have elderly or disabled persons in your life on a regular basis you will have little idea about their needs and requirements.

If you are employed on a vessel or at a port facility it is important that you know about the methods you can adopt and possible changes needed at your facility to ensure that the elderly and disabled travellers have a positive experience.

This course will outline types of disabilities and also the problems that can affect the elderly.  What needs to be in place to ensure ease of access, comfort etc. What may be required in the way of assistance.
